LAS VEGAS — Gospel music is headed to the Las Vegas Strip in a historic new way.
The Clark Sisters, Fred Hammond and Deitrick Haddon are set to headline “Legends of Gospel,” a Las Vegas residency presented by Dr. Holly Carter and IKON Presents. The residency is being billed by organizers as the first-ever gospel residency on the Las Vegas Strip.
The experience is scheduled to begin Oct. 8 and 9, 2026, at The Theater at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas. Promotional materials for the event direct fans toGospelVegas.comfor more information.
The lineup brings together several defining voices in contemporary gospel. The Clark Sisters, often celebrated as one of gospel music’s most influential groups, helped shape the sound of modern gospel with their blend of church-rooted harmony, intricate vocal arrangements and crossover appeal. Hammond, a longtime leader in gospel, worship and urban inspirational music, has helped define contemporary praise for generations. Haddon, known for his energetic performance style and modern gospel sound, adds another layer of Detroit gospel influence to the residency.

For gospel music, the announcement marks a major cultural moment. Las Vegas residencies have long been associated with pop, R&B, country, rock, hip-hop and legacy acts, but gospel has rarely been positioned on the Strip with the same kind of marquee treatment.
“Legends of Gospel” arrives as gospel continues to expand its reach across generations and platforms, from church sanctuaries and festival stages to streaming playlists, award shows and major touring markets. The residency also gives fans a destination-style experience built around worship, legacy and live performance.
The Clark Sisters are also part of a major recognition year. The group was previously announced as part of the Hollywood Walk of Fame’s Class of 2026, further underscoring their influence beyond gospel music alone.
